Michelangelo Paintings

Among Michelangelo paintings are two of the most influential works in fresco in Western art history. These are the scenes from Genesis on the ceiling and The Last Judgment on the altar wall of the Sistine Chapel in Rome.

Michelangelo paintings include the Drunkenness of Noah, The Creation of Adam and God dividing Light from Darkness. Michelangelo depicted himself as the model for the Creator in the action of painting the Sistine Chapel ceiling.
