Caravaggio Paintings

Caravaggio paintings demonstrated the physical particularity, an aspect of Caravaggo’s realism, for which he was to become renowned. Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio was an artist active in Rome, Naples, Malta and Sicily.

Caravaggio paintings include The Fortune Teller, The Cardsharps,  The Musicians, The Lute Player and Boy Bitten by a Lizard. Caravaggio’s first paintings on religious themes showed an emergence of remarkable spirituality.
